Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "config.cfg" or "controls.def" file in the "\my documents\18 wos haulin\" folder. Change the values of the following lines:

No police

You will no longer be fined, and there will be no cars in the emergency lane.

No fatigue

Unlimited money

Use a text editor to edit the "game sii" file. Scroll down to find the "money_account:" line, followed by the amount of money you have in the game from your last save point. You can edit this to any value desired to have that much money in your bank account.

Better engine

Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Select a saved game directory in the "\my documents\18 wos haulin\" folder. Use a text editor to edit the "game sii" file. Scroll down to find the lines that correspond to your engine. For example, lines such as:

info[0]: "@@ui_engine_hp@@:600 hp [448 kw] @1800"

info[1]: "@@ui_engine_torque@@:1650 lb. ft. [2235 N.m] @1200"

Change "600 hp [448 kw]" (or similar value) to "1000 hp [747 kw]". Change "1650 lb. ft. [2235 N.m]" (or similar value) to "3000 lb. ft. [4065 N.m]". This will increase the horsepower and torque of your engine, although it will still appear the same as before on the motor stats.

Hints

Avoid hitting traffic

Sometimes it is difficult to stay in your lane without hitting the cars and trucks which pass you. Press F to turn on your flashers and other vehicles will not pass you. If the highway is too full, pass everybody on the emergency lane if there are no police. As soon as you pass a vehicle it will slow down and fall back.

Avoiding police

Save the game if the police are in front of you. Load the saved game, then make sure you do not hear the police siren.

Free fuel

Stop at any fuel pump. After refilling is complete, save the game and reload it, then pull away from the pump. You will not be charged anything for the fuel.
